Savi
Savi was born and brought up on the slopes of Mt. Kenya, in Nanyuki. She studied in the UK for her BA (Hons) degree before returning home to live in Kenya. She has been working as a Cheli & Peacock Sales Consultant for the last two years, in the International Sales department.
Angela
Born and brought up in Nairobi, Angela was trained in tourism and travel, and has been working in the tour industry for more than 8 years. Angela works as a sales consultant for Cheli & Peacock since 2003.
Raymond
Raymond was born and brought up in Nairobi, trained in tours and travel management; a profession he has been in for the last 6 years. He is an International Sales consultant for Cheli & Peacock.
Elijah
Elijah is one of the most recent arrivals to the Cheli & Peacock team, having joined in 2007. His core responsibility is with the International Sales information systems as well as Sales Consultant.
Sian
Sian was born and brought up in Kenya, although attended school in the UK. Very enthusiastic and efficient, she now works in our operations department with Caro and Eliud.
Caro
Caro joined Cheli & Peacock in 2005, and although she was previously based within our marketing department, she has now moved into operations - where she works superbly alongside Sian and Eliud.
Eliud
Born and brought up in rural Kenya, Eliud has worked in the wildlife conservation sector as a consultant for approximately 8 years. Eliud joined Cheli & Peacock in August 2008 as an Operations Officer in the International Sales Department.
Special Safaris
Antonia
Antonia was born and brought up in Kenya, and is 3rd generation Kenyan. She has worked in the International Sales department for almost 10 years. Having recently had a baby, she has returned to work, heading up the International Sales Department and setting up Cheli & Peacock’s new Specialised Safaris department.
Judith
With over 13yrs experience in the tourism industry and with a diploma in tourism management from the renowned Kenya Utalii College, Judy joined Cheli & Peacock during July 2008, and now helps Antonia in the Special Safaris department.
Celestine
Celestine is assistant to Antonia in the Special Safaris department. She has been with Cheli & Peacock since 2005.
Marketing
Charlotte
Charlotte is Cheli & Peacock’s marketing manager. Her grandfather, Sir Paget Bourke, was Chief Justice in Kenya during Independence, so has a long family connection with Kenya. Charlotte carries out the marketing for all of the Cheli & Peacock portfolio of properties, as well as Cheli & Peacock itself. She is very happy to help with all camp / lodge / press / advertising queries, and is the person to contact regarding brochure or image requests.
Kim
Kim has lived in Kenya for 10 years, and has been working for Cheli & Peacock in the International Sales department for the last 6 years. Kim now manages all of C&P FAM and Press trips.
Carolyne
Carolyne joined Cheli & Peacock’s dynamic team of staff in 2008, as a marketing assistant and contact database administrator. Carolyne is creative and passionate about travel, and hopes to ensure that "your safari is better than you could ever dream".
Nelly
Born and bred in Nakuru, in the Rift Valley, Nelly was trained in tours & travel management. She has been in the tourism business for the last eight years, and has now been with Cheli & Peacock since 2005. Nelly handles all of C&P's FAM and Press trips alongside Jane.
Jane
Jane joined Cheli & Peacock's marketing team during 2008. Specializing in tour operating and quotations, she handles FAM and Press trip arrangements alongside Nelly, as well as carrying out costings for promotional brochure / website itineraries.
Nairobi Drivers
Joseph
Joseph has been working for Cheli & Peacock for 20 years now.
Born in Kericho, which is the highland tea-producing part of Kenya, Joseph then moved to Laikipia where he still lives today. Joseph is married, and now has 7 children, who all live together on his small farm at the foot of Mt. Kenya.
Before joining Cheli & Peacock, Joseph used to work with the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS).
Gibson
Born in the Kenya’s Central Province, Gibson’s passion for wildlife and conservation started when he was at school. A keen member of the Boy Scout movement, Gibson’s skills in travelling and camping grew steadily, as well as his ability to serve society and humankind in general. Gibson is qualified with his KPSGA bronze level, and has spend many months working as a guide in the Maasai Mara, Samburu, Aberdares, Amboseli, as well as parts of Kenya’s North Coast.
Gibson joined Cheli & Peacock in 2006, and is enjoying his experience with the company. He enjoys meeting new visitors and showing off Kenya, as well as learning about their countries, but especially likes seeing previous visitors return to Kenya...
Rajab
Rajab’s love for nature and wildlife started at the tender age of 9 years, when he first joined the Kenya Scout’s movement at his primary school. Little did he know at the time that it would later translate and develop into his career…
After primary school, Rajab went on to join secondary school and obtained his ‘O’ level certificate. Later he joined the Kenya Christian Industrial Training Centre where he obtained qualification in computer operation.
At Utalii College Rajab obtained a professional qualification in Tour Guiding. This coupled with his scout training made him feel that he needed to put his professional training to good use by joining a local Tour company, where he completed his bronze KSPGA level. In March 2007 Rajab joined Cheli & Peacock.
