Shaba ● Meru ● Masai Mara - 10 Day Flying Safari

 The Adamson’s Footsteps 10 day flying safari based on either

Cottar’s 1920’s, Saruni, Richard’s Camp or Elephant Pepper Camp in the Masai Mara.

DAY 1                                                   HOUSE OF WAINE, Nairobi
On arrival into Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met and transferred to House of Waine. This is an 11-bedroomed boutique hotel in Karen, a suburb of Nairobi, renowned for fine decor & its quiet location. The rooms have a television, mini bar, room safe, coffee & tea making facilities with fresh milk and homemade pastries delivered daily. Each bedroom has a large marble bathroom with a shower and bath, and a hairdryer. Within the surrounding gardens there is a heated swimming pool. It is closely located to the Giraffe Centre, Nairobi National Park, Daphne Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage etc.
        
DAY 2, 3 & 4                                         ELSA’S KOPJE, Meru National Park
You will be collected at 06h15 from House of Waine and transferred to Wilson Airport to catch the 08h00 Air Kenya scheduled flight to Meru National Park. On arrival at 08h45, you will be met by a driver-guide and taken to the lodge.  Elsa’s Kopje has 8 elegant open-plan 'rooms-with-a-view' plus a three tier Honeymoon Suite, and a Private House with a double and a twin room, a shared sitting room, verandah and a private swimming pool. All rooms are uniquely designed incorporating natural features of the rocky hillside. There is an open bar, sitting and dining room with an infinity pool.  Activities include day & night game drives, guided bush walks, bush meals, cultural visits, sundowners, fishing and massage. This untamed wilderness is renowned for its rhino sightings and rare northern species.
                                   
DAY 5 & 6                                             JOY’S CAMP, Shaba National Reserve
Depart Joy’s Camp at 10h00 on your private charter aircraft to Shaba at 10h30.  On arrival at the Chaffa airstrip, your driver/guide will meet you and transfer you to camp. Joy’s Camp has 10 chic canvas bedrooms with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and overlooking a large natural spring. Each sumptuous tent is uniquely decorated with Boran/Somali cloth, handmade glass and vibrant fabrics of the local tribes creating a chic, sophisticated camp. Activities include game drives, bush meals on the Ewaso Nyiro river, cultural visits and sundowners. The camp is ideal for private game viewing as well as relaxing, reading and soaking up the truly wild environs offered by Shaba. 
                                                                                                                                                                                 
DAY 7, 8 & 9                                         THE MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Cottars 1920’s – Saruni – Richard’s Camp – Elephant Pepper Camp
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your Safarilink scheduled flight at 09h10 to the Masai Mara, which offers a true wildlife experience, hard to duplicate anywhere else in the world. You can stay at any of the following camps: Cottars 1920’s, with its elegant style white tents and traditional luxury; Saruni’s intimate cottages with luxurious interiors and Italian fittings; Richard’s Camp is a traditional tented camp in true safari style with modern surprises or Elephant Pepper Camp, which brings you back to nature, no permanent structures, just the sights and sounds of the bush. Day and night game drives, breakfasts out on the savannah, sundowners, bush meals, bush walks and cultural visits are all included in the rates.
                                                                                                                                                                  
DAY 10                                                 DEPARTURE
After a last game drive in the Masai Mara, catch the 11h00 Safarilink scheduled flight back to Nairobi. A Cheli & Peacock representative will meet and transfer you to your Nairobi hotel or to the international airport.

Baggage restriction of 15kgs per person is applicable on all small aircrafts, preferably in soft bags.
KWS charge a supplement of US$ 15 per night game drive / game walk per person whilst staying at EK.
